Dell Dimension 8250 - sent in rebates in Dec., 2002 - one of four rebates still not paid as status is listed on www.rebatestatus.com as "still processing"

Complaints.com received the following on March 26, 2003:

RE: Dell Dimension 8250 - sent in rebates in Dec., 2002 - one of four rebates still not paid as status is listed on www.rebatestatus.com as "still processing" I ordered a Dell Dimension 8250 computer system from Dell Computer Corporation. The computer system came with $560.00 in total rebate money. Rebates were sent in 12-15-02... three came up at www.rebatestatus.com, the fourth did not... I called,etc., they had no record of it... I sent it by certified mail and it was recognized roughly 2 weeks after the first three.

I have contacted Dell customer service more than once along with staff at www.rebatestatus.com... they have checked each and every rebate, stated everything is in order, all rebates are legitimate and will be paid... (this

contact was made a week ago)in 8-10 weeks or so... !!!??!!

I've informed them I've already waited much longer than 8-10 weeks per the rebate form and want my money per the agreement/rebate form terms, not in ANOTHER 8-10 WEEKS! I was told my rebates are still processing... Here it is 3-26-03 and as usual I went to www.rebatestatus.com... all my rebates are "still processing." Email User
