I purchased a software package from Overnight Recovery Software on 1/31/03 and have not received it as of 3/24/03. The first mail I received promoting this program contained a link to their site. This site contained a box for messages to the company and an address and phone number. A search of the Better Business Bureau in January in Scottsdale, AZ revealed a clean slate, so I ordered the package.

It was stated on the site that it would take two to three weeks to receive the software. When I tried to make payment, the third party billing company, PaySystems.com, would not process my credit card, stating it had been declined. I was able to use this credit card elsewhere, so I tried again the next day, with the same results. When I used my checking account debit card, I had no problems.

I believe the credit card was declined deliberately to force me to use my checking account, thus removing the possibility of consequences imposed by the credit card company for fraud. Since I placed an order, I have begun receiving mail from many sources promoting this software, however, the site has been altered in the following ways: the message box is gone, the phone number is gone and the address has been changed to one in New York.

I have paid $69 for the program and $11 for shipping. Eleven bucks to ship TWO CD'S?????

Currently, the BBB complaints state the software is not what it is touted to be and the company representatives are unreachable. The BBB also advises checking with UPS and FedEx regarding their policies or procedures for this type of service, which places the practicality of the entire program in question.

I am forwarding complaints to the Attorney General and BBB of the states this company does business in and alerting PaySystems.com to the business practices of their client, as well as posting to Complaints.com. Thank you for a wonderful site that gets results. Pamela De Baun
