this is just a general out cry for competant and frienly staff. my mother had a cuthbertson bowl and my brother broke it. 15 yrs ago. so we finally found a set on line at winterfieldgifts.com. my grandmother ordered it and instead of sending her the three mixing bowls. they sent her a set of 5 nestling bowls (very ugly ones too) She called customer service and they wer nice said theyd issue a recall order all she had to do was tape up the box. she waited waitied waitied. she called back.

 

said she had to fill out all forms of paper work. fax it in then shed get a recall number. so she got the paperwork. filled it out. and sent it in. finally the box was taken back and a few days later her "correct order" arrived. it was those same ugly bowls. she called back (each time she got the same woman) the lady was livid sayign that she must have messed up in ordering. but that theyd take them back onne more time. but she had to fill out all the information. grandma said to cancel the order before the recall information came her creidt card bill did. she was charged twice. she called up again and was told that htat was because they were shipped twice and that they would be taken off her bill (that took three months) she filled out three different sets of paperwofk for tha tlsst set of ugly bowls. I iwas determined to get the correct bowls for mom for christmas so i ordered them. and surprise surprise i got the same ugly bowls. i looked at all of the incormation on the box and compared it to the web site. the numbers were off slightly. i ordered #####A and received #####B. i called. i told her all the info. she told me that htey had'nt made "A" in years and that i wouldnt get it. i said it was on the site. they took orders for it. and i wanted my bowls.

 

i told her that his was the third time we had tried to order them and that someone should change the information on the site so that the correct numbers went with the correct pictures. she said that all shipping saw was "cuthbertson bowls" and since those were the only ones they hd that htose were the ones setn. i told her that 'that was nice but theyre not th e ones i ordered.

 

not the ones i was looking for. and not something i would ever concisously spend money on" i hold fast to the believf that they were jsut trying to get rid of those awful bowls. i finally got the ones i wanted. it took four sets and several phone calls. but i got my bowls that you can tip on the side so they dont fall overl. thank you for nothing customer service at winterfieldgifts.com
