RE: T-Mobile - doesn't offer phone insurance - poor customer service experiences

I originally switched from sprint to tmobile because i wanted to avoid companies that overcharge, that are understaffed, or that argue with customers when they simply have concerns about their service or bill. Tmobile offers absolutley NO phone insurance.

So when my phone is stolen or lost i pay 100$ for a standard 3390 nokia. I am offered NO upgrades or purchases through the local Tmobile store, I must buy directly from Tmobile's 800 number which charges 30-50% more than the local store.

THEN, when i receive my bill i am overcharged on the already disappointing amount. THEN, i argue with a lady who i can't even understand about the amount i was overcharged, for about a half an hour untill i hang up. I call back wait on hold for another half an hour hoping to be transfered to a person of american customs. I am found in the right by a different representative but then when i go to pay my bill, I find this problem was never resolved inside Tmobiles's computer system.

I again call and wish to cancel my contract that costed me a 250$ fee which is something I'd rather pay for then to be a customer of Tmobile anymore. They have THE WORST customer service and billing accuracy that i have ever experienced next to sprint. --Amanda- WA Lori Smith

I bought the t mobile insurance and after 6 months the back plate on my blackberry Pearl kept falling off.I was sent a replacement which was a refurbished Pearl and had a cracked front glass. They sent me another refurbished phone and the volume was so low it was unusable. I called tmobile and requested a brand new Pearl and they told me they could not get me e new phone only refurbished. I had to pay $300. for a new Pearl. T-Mobile does not stand behind thier agreements and the insurance company is a ripoff.

Very much true.

they will charge for it and never provide the customers bill of rights or a contract provided by insurance company.

I had to call them, and ask questions about my deductibles.

T Mobile was very unprofessional about my issue.

If you insure your cell make sure you ask for contact of whats covered and procedure if phone is lost or stolen or broken and needs to be fixed.

A lots of hiden fees and charges + bad customers service.

Stay away from T Mobile insurance - they will do anything NOT TO provide new phone

EXCUSES AND NOTHING ELSE...
