RE: Signature Vacation - Tryp Cayo Coco Cuba - not 24 hour entertainment and food, as told
My complaint is about Signature Vacation, they failed to inform me and my family and friends about the resort we went to "Tryp Cayo Coco" Cuba. They told us that they had 24 hour entertainment and 24 hour food, which was not true. Everything was on a time schedule. Buffets were only open from 8:00 am-10:00 pm, Lunch Buffet were 12:00 pm- 3:00 pm and Dinner was 6:00 pm- 9:00 pm, or had to be booked at the a la cartes which were 6:00 pm til 9:00 pm.
Which meant on our last day we left the resort at 6:00 pm so we had no choice but to eat pizza and we almost missed out on that because they took so long to make the pizza. The resort itself is beautiful but it's only good for people who enjoy walking because half the time the train that runs through the resort is not running, and it stops running at 11:00 pm like everything else on the resort.
Plus being Diabetic they had no diet coke available and they didn't have bottled water to give people at the resort, and I paid for super all inclusive. I had to go buy water and get diet coke off the resort for $2.60 American, I was definately not pleased with that I would of liked to of been warned, I would of taken my own pop and water. Plus I wouldn't of paid for all inclusive for $1,500.00 per person. There were 4 out of 9 of us that drink diet coke.
When they said all inclusive that is supposed to mean booze as well and half the time they were running out of beer everywhere we went on the resort, or the bars didn't open til 11:00 am, which on a regular basis would be okay, but not when you are on vacation. I just feel you should beable to get what you want when you want it as far as food and drinks go.
Don't get me wrong the resort was beautiful and we don't blame it on Cuba but I think we were given the wrong information by Signature Vacation. We would have gone somewhere else, probably for less money.
