Complaints.com received the following consumer message on March 8, 2002:

Hello,

Unfortunately, I found your site too late. I placed an order for address labels through affordableaddresslabels.com which is owned by a company called Clear Marketing, Inc.

After waiting 2 weeks for my order, I sent 2 different emails trying to find out when I would get my order. In the second email I threatened to contact my credit card company if I didn't get a reply. No reply. I called the long distance phone number which was a voicemail box and it didn't even identify the company name. Left a

message, no reply.

I started searching the web, and discovered that this was the same company that owned labels-n-stamps.com, and then I found your site since there had been previous complaints about the company under this website name.

I also did a search on the names of the "customer testimonials" on their site and it would appear that only 1 of the 6 people listed is legitimate, and that one was in the same state as the company. I have had the charges reversed on my credit card and am changing my credit card number to be safe. But I wanted to submit this complaint so that others might avoid the same trouble. Sincerely,
