Budget Rent a Car, Wible Rd, Bakersfield, CA - car was not available, despite reservation

Budget Rent a Car, Wible Rd, Bakersfield, CA - car was not available, despite reservation I would like to post my complaint against Budget Rent a Car on Wible Rd in Bakersfield, I reserved with my credit card a small compact car for a 1 yr wedding anniversary trip to Las vegas in 2000. I went in at specified time to pick up car and when I got there all I was offered was a pick up truck.

I didnt want a pick up or I would have asked for one, I already owned one but wanted a smooth car ride with a trunk for luggage. I was furious, we were suposed to leave within the hour of getting the car to reach our hotel as we had timed reservations also. Budget called their other office but nothing was available. So we headed to the airport and rented a car from Hertz who gave us no hassles and a great economy car.

I told Budget they will never get my business again, I later received a 35.00 coupon in the mail from Budget. I tore it up and threw it away. What a slap in the face, they should have given me whole credit for my other rental car and for making us late for our room and the hassles. Budget Gets 2 thums down!! Debera M
