Atlantic Circulation Inc, Mountville, PA - paid for, but didn't receive Vibe magazine order I would like to post a complaint against Atlantic Circulation Inc. 2 College Ave. P.O. Box 448 Mountville, PA. I placed an order for a subscription to Vibe magazine in August of 2001.

I never received a copy of the magazine and after calling them to find out what was the problem I was told to send in a copy of my receipt and then I would be notified of the results.

I never received a response after sending in my receipt. After several attempts at calling them and getting no answer and sending a certified letter requesting my money be returned I still have no response from them. I advise anyone dealing with Atlantic Circulation Inc. to beware of being scamed Sincerely,

Teresa Tucker-Lee

I just got that great sinking feeling you get when you realize you have been duped. After reading the previous comment it confirmed what I suspected right after this girl drove off. Same story told me she was going to London for some school project or something. Actually told me her parents lived on the next street over and she was in town visiting them. They tell you they get extra points towards their trip if you pay cash. Its a shame you have to be careful when you are just trying to help someone out. I am that type of person and they take advantage of good nature. In my mind I just dont understand that mentality of trying to scam people.

I too was scammed by ACI by a young man with a great story about going to London to be in a production of Phantom of the Opera. He was so sincere that I did not question the authenticity. In addition I was told I could purchase the magazine subscription for the soldiers in Iraq, Iran or Afghanistan. I live in a military community so this appealed to my charitable nature. My first clue was the receipt which was not properly completed, so I googled the company when I got to work and discovered they have been scamming people for years. I immediately stopped payment on my check, and notified the local Sheriff's Department.
