Are there business ethics in online companies?

I have dozens of emails back and forth to the complaints department. Not one of the responses to my complaint resolved the problem. In fact, the responses have now made it worse. Domain names that I authorized to be renewed were released, resulting in my losing a significant domain name.

I have communicated consistently with the company since prior to and during the renewal process. Despite this effort on my part they released the domain names, to what seems to be a reseller, and I would assume made a profit. I'm left to wonder if this was not a consequence for having attempted to transfer my domain names to a competitor.

Regardless, having lost that domain name will impact negatively on the troubled children that domain name exists to help.
