Mr. Smith

I wish to submit a letter within a supplemental entry to Complaints. com as further proof of a complaint that I submitted. against Ark-La-Tex Auto & Classic Museum listed under the date of March 23, 2002. The actual letter thanks me and my husband for the $500 donation for 1/2 of the proceeds for activity whereby the Pierce Arrow automobile mentioned was used . It is signed by the then secretary of the Ark-La-Tex Auto Museum in Shreveport, La. , I noticed that a "rebuttal" dated Dec. 30, 2003 and signed by a Sharon Bauman-Nash Secretary, calling my complaint "erroneous and untrue", and would very much like to address it. I was never notified of any "board meeting" to discuss my allegation nor request for any evidence to submit to show this to be a fact, and would like to address it. Is this against the regulations of your site? I might add, this same group was discussed on the front page of the Shreveport Times, Shreveport, La. approx 2 weeks (3-22-04) ago for various "borderline" activites to be addressed in a public meeting by the City of Shreveport, La. Thank you, Vencene Reed, P O Box 3932, Texarkana, Tex.

In response to the complaint filed on 3/23/2002 via complaints.com by Vencene Reed, P. O. Box 3932, Wake Village, Texas, 75501 against the Ark-La-Tex Antique & Classic Vehicles, Inc., Shreveport, LA. This complaint was recently brought to the attention of the Museum Board. The complaint lodged is erroneous and untrue. The Museum is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation that has been in existence since August, 1995. The Museum is not a party to the situation referenced to in the complaint.

On behalf of the Museum, I respectfully submit this response -

Ark-La-Tex Antique & Classic Car Museum - Kruse Auction Shreveport La Over five years ago my husband and I bought half share in an antique Pierce Arrow thru Kruse Auction with a personal friend who owned Memory Motors & is involved with the Ark-La-Antique and Classic Car Museum in Shreveport La.

We invested nearly $14,000 in the car including some parts, and assumed that we would have our names on the Bill of Sales;instead the owner, Roy Miller dba. "Memory Motors put the Pierce Arrow Bill of Sales in the name of his company, "Memory Motors", and left our names out completely.

This vehicle has been used for five years in the museum in Shreveport, La. as a draw as well as being driven for weddings etc. and other social functions for a fee of $500.00 or more.

We, the co-owners of the car, have never been given any information other than expenses until we received a letter under the Ark-La-Tex Antique and Classic Car Museum letterhead in early Jan of this year thanking us for the $500.00 donation!!!!

This very business, run by the owners of the building,Roy Miller and Francene Miller, is involved in the second Kruse Auction to be held in Shreveport in early April,2002.

I have written letters asking that our names be put on the Bill of Sale so that we will have legal power if the car is sold, used for monetary gain etc. but to no success.

I have sent e-mails to the Museum asking who gave permission to donate the $500.00 to the Museum and get no answer. I am very disappointed in the lack of common honesty in these people.who seem to appear to have a sham going as to the "non-profit " status of this Museum.

I should have known better, and am voicing this in hopes that any one who attends the upcoming Kruse Auction in conjunction with the Ark-La-Tex Antique and Classic Car Museum in Shreveport La. with not get the "Louisiana Shaft" from these folks...

Sincerely , Mrs. Vencene Reed, PO Box 3932 ,Wake Village, Texas
