Complaints.com received the following consumer message on March 22, 2002:

I bought a new model 7700 usb scanner, it wouldn't stay connected, I called visioneer tech, they informed me that they knew of the problem and would ship a replacement scanner, it came and when scanning it sounded like it was agoing to come apart, called tech again and let them listen to machine, they said would ship another, I asked for a different model, was informed only COORPERATE HQ could ok different model, I sent two registered letters to CEO and have had NO REPLY!!!!!!
I asked for the almost $40.00 in phone calls to be reimbursed and was denied.
l think VISIONEER must sell so many scanners that they don't care about their customers anymore. Their warranty doesn't seem to count for the customer!!!!!!
THIS IS WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IF YOU BUY THEIR PRODUCT----------------------- "LET THE BUYER BEWARE"
