Datalink computer purchase on eBay.com - computer arrived damaged - still not taken care of

Complaints.com received the following consumer message on March 20, 2002:

Datalink computer purchase on eBay.com - computer arrived damaged - still not taken care of Purchased a computer on EBAY from a company called Datalink.

The computer arrived damaged - $160 worth of damage. Filed a complaint with UPS as the shipment was insured.

I informed Datalink of the situation and they said they'd take care of it. After waiting and waiting, I filed a complaint with the Attorney General in New York.

Datalink told them they knew nothing of what I'm talking about. Yet, I have several E-Mails stating otherwise. Datalink is cheating me out of damages, and they have lied to the Attorney General.

The problem now is trying to find out what I can do to collect damages.
