Bank of America Investment Services - still didn't receive 10,000-mileage miles credit to Alaska Airline Credit Card account for opening an MR Account

Complaints.com received the following consumer message on March 16, 2002:

Bank of America Investment Services - still didn't receive 10,000-mileage miles credit to Alaska Airline Credit Card account for opening an MR Account

Re Bank of America Investment Services. 1 800 321- 5454

Account # T18-132047 Siriyaporn(kris) Petchang In 10/2001 I had received a invitation in the mail to open a “Master Relationship Account” with Bank of America Investment services. In return I would receive 10,000-mileage miles credit to my Alaska Airline Credit Card account for opening the MR. Account. 10/2001 Account was opened. Jan 2002,called 1 800 321-5454 asked for 10,000miles to be credited. Which I was told every time I called that somebody will look into it. It has been 6 months since account was opened. I still had not seen any miles credit to mileage account as promised.

I has called, e-mail Bank of America several time. I was told someone would look into it. But until now, nothing has happen when called Alaska Airline who issue the letter. Agent has not heard of such promotion.

I need a clear explanation in writing why I was denying what I had promised!
