very poor service at factory outlet store in Houston TX i am very disappointed in there costumer service department 4 different problems from different people two of which were managers 1200 is only 1 month old and already needs harddrive,system board,disk defrag,and battery which they gave me a used battery a very used battery.
which probably shorted out system board 1200 worked fine when I took it in except needed a NEW battery.
Ran fine on alt. power. now i am left with a pile junk i cant give away.
I will save myself the time and trouble and just buy H.P it will probably be cheaper in the long run but why do they think they run the industry costumer service is a joke .
the next compaq i am going to buy will be at there going out of business sale when i can buy 1000 for a dollar maybe a real computer tech
can build one that works for a few days
