Priceline.com - didn't purchase tickets, but billed by Priceline - no help from customer service Hi my name is Kim, and have I been ripped off!! Last Feb. my son and I started to look for tickets and BIG mistake off ever shopping on priceline.com.
We started bidding at 50.00 we were shopping for 6 boys to go to Panama City for spring vacation, the parents decided to buy tickets instead of letting them drive, our cut off was 250.00. Well, we shopped for a few days on different sights, Priceline was always higher stopped bidding at 220.00. Found tickets at another sight bought them put on Discover card.
Well, after the boys were back received my credit card bill from Discover and not were there only 6 tickets from one place there were 6 tickets from priceline at close to 300.oo a piece. We I couldn't believe it so I called them and said there was a big mistake, well after 3 of the rudest people, I was told so sorry that they had sent me a promotional email, which I never got nor would I of excepted because I bought tickets elsewhere, the last women told me" I'm not going to stand here and argue with you "and she hung up me.
So I called my credit card and disputed it matter of fact 3 times, got nowhere. Needless to say after being a customer since 1987 and might I add a great one that sucker was cut into a million pieces. So now I have contacted Michigan's Attorney General, My congressman, My State Rep, The BBB of New Jersey, which may I add has cut off there association 2 times and has given it back in Dec. There stock went from 25.00 a share to less than 1.50 a share. ( I wonder why).
My State Rep called a MR. Brian Ek, Vice President Of Communications, She Said "That I have never dealt with such a rude man in her entire life" plus he hung up on her. I think he better go back and learn this communication thing all over again. She also received a letter from him that had so many false statements that I could not believe it, one being that I had contacted them 2 days before the flight, which was totally false, why would I contact them If I never bought or knew of any tickets. Also that you don't need to put in a credit card number before you get on the sight. Another false statement. He says he had proof that I called, can't wait to see that. If he finds anything they falsified that info.
So I am stuck now with an upwards of 2,000 on my credit card that I refuse to pay. They is making me literally sick. I have never owed a dime to anyone and now I owe thousands for something I never purchased or never used or received.
Help please Thank you very much
Kim Stiglich-Myers PS Another sight which I bought tickets on referred me to this sight.
