RE: Sears, Rolling Oaks Mall, Rolling Oaks, TX - trouble with Sears brand weedeater - warranty not honored I have a problem that has happened to me at the Sears store in the Rolling Oaks Mall, Rolling Oaks Texas. I have a Sears brand weedeater and the motor locked up while I was using the unit, which was only 10 months old, I took it to the store and the run around began.

Sears warranty is a joke as are the people who work there, if you think I am kidding go to one of them with a problem, and, in my experience, they all of a sudden become jerks with a bad attitude.

Sears will not honor any warranty on the weedeater's they sell if there is a motor problem, they will claim the gas oil mixture was not correct even if you use Sears brand oil and mix it according to the instructions.

They do not honor their statement of satisfaction guaranteed, they are no better than common con people, and dealing with customer service is a joke. Do not trust Sears products the warranty is not worth the paper it is written on and I find the people very rude, professional and do not have a clue what customer service is about!
