Dell Rebate on 2350 Dimension desktop

I recently bought a Dell2350 Dimension desktop. Actually it was purchased in April. I was told I wouldn't be going on line and asked if my $100 rebate was still available. The associate told me I was still able to get the rebate. I waited and waited for the info and nothing came.

Finally the bill came and I called the number on the back and the operator I spoke with was really good and understood the fact I wasn't on line and still printed out a copy of the rebate form and sent it to me.

I told her that it would p[robably go by the deadline of 30 days because no one told me I needed to call to receive the rebate form. The associate told me there wouldn't be a problem and Dell would honor it.

Guess what? They honored the $30 one for my printer and blew me out of the water for my $100 rebate! Told me I wasn't eligible because it went past the date.
