RE: ABN AMRO mortgage - filled out online form three times, but didn't receive contact from broker as expected - then trouble calling
Having my mortgage with ABN AMRO mortgage has been the worst experience i have ever had with any company.
Twice i tried to refinance with this outfit and twice i had to use a broker.
They have a web site and a form to fill in, and a representative is supposed to make contact. I did this three times and got nothing.
I tried to call them, but for days on end all i would get is "all circuits are busy, try your call later" When i finally got through i got this horrible maze of different menus to enter and answer questions about my refinance request.
I did this three times, and still no response.
I called customer service and explained that i could not reach anyone or get a reply for my refinance request, to which she yelled down the phone "i have no refince information" and duly cut me off.
So i called my broker she tried to contact them with an internal number she had and it took her two days to reach someone.
So finally i instructed my broker to do the refinance with anyone but ABN AMRO.
The point here is i could have saved a lot of money by refinancing direclty without using a broker.
Thank you complaints.com for allowing me to "vent"
Sincerely Alan Dowdle Huntington Beach Ca.
