On 6/28/03 I purchased a floor model Whirlpool dryer, it had one small dent on the upper right side. The dryer was purchased for 198.00. I had friends pick up the dryer for me, bring it to my home and hook it up. I noticed that the dryer I received seemed to have many more dents than I had recalled on the showroom floor. Inside the dryer was a sale sign stating the dryer was 178.00. I returned to the store, found the dryer I purchased still sitting on the showroom floor with my name on it.

 

I advised the salesman who told me to go to customer service. I spoke to a customer service represenative who told me since the dryer was picked up and signed for there was nothing they could do. I stated that the fair solution would be for Brandsmart to bring me the dryer I bought and remove the wrong one ASAP.

 

He stated that I would have to pay a delivery charge and it would not be until "sometime in the next week or so and that I could not use the one I had in place" He reluctantly stated even though it was agaist Brandsmart policy they would give me the difference in price from the dryer received and the dryer purchased (mighty nice of them dont you think?).

 

They also gave me 10.00 additional dollars in compansation for my inconvienince. Because I have a family of four children and work during the week, I felt no other option than to accept their adjustment.

 

This occurred at the location at 16051 South Dixie Hwy Miami, Fl Thanks for your interest Jo Bayba
