Location of Wal-mart is 141 Washington Avenue, albany N,Y.

Dear Sir(s)

On June 16,03 I visited your Wall-Mart store on Washington avenue to do some shopping as i often do,because i enjoy shopping at Wall-mart. i notice a great buy on a 25inch Sonya color TV set for $197.64 and decided to buy it. i also purchased a apex digital DVD video player also a great buy and along with other items. my family was very pleased with what purchases, however when we got home we noticed the TV set had no remote control with it and being as late as it was we decided to call first morning. i spoke to someone in customer service who took my name and instructed me to come to the electronics department in the store and i would receive a remote control, all i had to do was give my name.

I went to the department informed the cashier what i was told and to my surprise she knew nothing about it, she called customer service and was told to replace the item, she call a associate in the department and told her what to do and she would not respond to the cashier request. the cashier call another associate who was very rude to her in front of three customers waiting on line and reluctantly agreed ed to find one. after what seemed like 20 minuets i decided to see what was holding him up. apon finding him, he was doing everything but getting

a remote control so i asked him about the request and was rudely told he did not know what i was talking about.

I than went and found the store manager and told him of my problem and followed him into the department in hopes of solving the situation, however he just went to the remotes ang gave me a universal control, spoke not a word nor offered any apology even after i told him of my treatment. I work in retail management for a very large chain and i am very sure that your customer service policies do not permit this type of behavior towards any customer regardless. I'm a minority and i departed your store feeling very troubled. i did not expect and special consideration only just to be a little sympathetic to my circumstances.

To this day the remote given still do not work on the TV i purchased at your store. i would return all items however my family likes the items even without the remote control.............
