Complaints.com received the following on June 27, 2003:

RE: Crossings mail order books - ordered book by author Strongs - received books that didn't order I WAS CONTACTED TROUGH THE PHONE SERVICE ABOUT BUYING BOOKS FROM THEIR COMPANY AND WAS TOLD NO BOOKS HAD TO BE BOUGHT OVER ANY AMOUNT OF TIME. I COULD PICK WHAT BOOKS I WANTED AT A DISCOUNT PRICE.
I PICKED ONE OF STRONGS BOOKS. WHAT I RECEIVED WAS NOT WHAT I ORDERED BUT A FEW PAPERBACKS THAT WERE WAY OVERPRICED.
I CALLED THEIR SERVICE DEPT. AND WAS TOLD NO PROBLEM CANCELING AND I WOULD NOT RECEIVE ANY MORE NOTICES. WELL NOT ONLY HAVE THEY CONTINUED TO SEND MAIL BUT I RECEIVE PACKAGES OF BOOKS CONTINUELY.
I KEEP RETURNING THEM AND HAVE WRITTEN SEVERAL -LETTERS TO NO PREVAIL.
