RE: VoiceStream - T-Mobile - mobile to mobile calls getting cut off - unable to use phones normally

I signed up with Voice Stream about a year ago. Within a few months, they were bought by T-Mobile. I have been having problems ever since. Originally, I got the Family Plan so that my boyfriend (who works nights) and I could keep in touch. The problem is 90 to 100% of our mobile-to-mobile calls have problems not going through or getting cut off.

Within the past month, his phone suddenly started redialing numbers while he already was on a call. It also would just start dialing a number when he wasn't using it. We tried swapping the SIM Card from his phone into mine...still had the problem. We tried getting a new phone...still had the problem. We tried doing a "Master Reset"...problem still there. We went back to the store and got a new SIM card...did not help. After talking for hours with Customer Service, they are out of ideas.

I asked for early out of the contract but they said they would charge me $200.00. I told them the phones were pretty much useless since we get disconnected so much or his phone is putting him on hold to redial every 10 seconds. This morning, we were disconnected 16 times in 3 or 4 minutes. I have less than two months to go on the contract so I guess I will be forced to pay for nothing. Don't get T-Mobile!
