RE: CompUSA, Warwick, RI - didn't receive Adaptec $ 20 rebate I mailed a $20.00 rebate that was giving out by COMP USA in Store #321 ,Warwick, RI. I followed all the instructions and mailed it off before the expiration date. I paid $69.99 after checking the Web site Wheresmyrebate.com, I notice that the bottom of the rebate stated "if you have not received your check within 10 weeks visit the web site or call 800-390-2344.
I've been following up on this web site and it seems that I guess they did not want to give up this rebate that's why I'm contacting you to see if something can get done. Here's a copy of what is being publish and the reasoning why I was not giving my rebate. Transaction on receipt # 290379, salesperson 0000138421, purchased on 1/3/03 10:34 am. Rebate Status Detail
