RE: Quicken 2002 - trouble getting checks to print - discovered that 2002 version wouldn't work with printer - Quicken refused refund I purchased the upgrade to Quicken 2002 and had trouble getting my checks to print. The technical support people had me try various things, but nothing worked. As the deadline for returning the software approached, I mentioned this to the support people, who assured me that if we could not resolve the problem, I would be able to return the software for a refund.

 

I finally found the answer buried in their web pages - the new version would not work with my printer! - I called technical support, and they were not aware of the problem. Then, when I called customer service to return the product, they ABSOLUTELY REFUSED to consider a refund because the examination period had passed. WARNING: INTUIT does not have their act together. Technical support people were nice and tried to help, but had no clue that customer service was so rigid. I did not feel customer service was even listening to me - she just said that the examination period was over, so they would not consider a refund, no matter what technical support issues I had. I ended up switching to another product.
