Costco, the infamous "our customers don't matter store". We love shopping at Costco, but are really frustrated with buying items from them on a regular basis, only to have their buyer to one day to decide to discontinue the item. We have been buying Laura Scudders Crunchy Peanut Butter from their store in Albuquerque for years. When we went to get it again today, lo and behold, they now only have the creamy version, that they did not have previously, and no crunchy. While standing in the aisle complaining to each other, my husband and I had 2 other customers stop and complain to us about this same thing.

They too were Laura Scudder Crunchy customers. We went to complain to the manager, and he informed us that they had eliminated about 130 items, perhaps this was one of them. When I informed him that they were now stocking the creamy in place of the crunchy, he admitted that someone probably just decided to switch it out. Unfortunately this type of thing happens at Costco regularly. I could relate other incidences, but I am sure anyone who shops at Costco regularly knows exactly what we are talking about. Seems the bottom line or a buyers whim is all that matters.
