Complaints.com received the following on June 16, 2003:

RE: rebatestatus.com and Dell - still owed $ 100 of $ 150 rebate for purchase of Dell PC

 

I purchased a laptop in February 2003, was supposed to get a $150 rebate from Dell. Mailed in rebate paperwork 3/6/03. Got first check for only $50 in April. I had to email rebatestatus.com to tell them that I was still owed $100. After telling me they couldn’t find me in their system, they then put in an order for it.

 

Their website says that my check for $100 was mailed 4/29/03, but I have not received it. When I emailed them about this, they again told me that they couldn’t find my information, then made me fax all my paperwork to them. THEN they told me to email them in 2 weeks to find out the status of my check.

 

Dell CSRs cannot help with this, they don’t have access to the information, but there is also no phone number for rebatestatus.com at either Dell or rebatestatus web site. Lousy customer service from both ends.
