BETWEEN MY HUSBAND'S AND MY DAUGHTER'S CINGULAR CELL PHONES, WE HAVE EXPERIENCED NOTHING BUT TOTAL DISSATISFACTION WITH THIS COMPANY AND THEIR SO CALLED POLICIES. WE LIVE IN THE FLA. KEYS.

WHERE THE HUMIDITY LEVELS ARE ALWAYS VERY HIGH COMPARED TO MOST AREAS . WE HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE CELL PHONES QUITE OFTEN. NOW HERE IS THE PROBLEM.. WE HAVE INSURANCE ON OUR PHONES.. WE HAVE TO DRIVE NEARLY 2 HOURS TO MIAMI TO FIRST TAKE THE PHONE WHICH IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY TO THE "REPAIR SHOP" ..

WE ARE TOLD THAT THE PHONE "WILL BE FIXED UNDER WARRANTY, THAT WE HAVE HAD PROBLEMS THIS MODEL,AND IT WILL BE SENT BACK TO YOUR HOME IN LESS THAN A WEEK...AFTER NINE WORKING DAYS AND OVER 2 HOURS ON THE PHONE , WE FINALLY FIND OUT THAT THE "CINGULAR WARRANTY STORE IN KENDALL IN MIAMI ADDRESS 8941 S.W. 107TH AVE. {305-273-5131} ATTENTION MR. ROCKY ROQUE INFORMS ME THAT THE PHONE HAS "MUCH WATER DAMAGE" AND "WILLNOT" BE REPAIRED UNDER WARRANTY!!!!

NOW AFTER 3 MORE HOURS ON THE PHONE TRYING TO GET BACK IN TOUCH WITH THIS PEOPLE TO TRY AND SOLVE THIS PROBLEM. HE AGAIN TELLS ME THAT THERE IS NOTHING HE CAN OR WILL DO FOR ME THAT I HAVE INSURANCE SO THEREFORE JUST GO AND GET ANOTHER PHONE..

NOW HERE IS AGAIN THE PROBLEM.. THEY USE THIS TERM "WATER DAMAGE" EACH AND EVERY TIME TO US.. THIS PHONE HAS NOT BEEN IN THE BATHTUB, THE SINK, THE RAIN, OR THE OCEAN!!! AND THEY HAVE DONE THIS NUMEROUS TIMES WITH US FOR SEVERAL YEARS. AND UNFORTUNATELY I HAVE A TWO YEAR CONTRACT WITH THEM AND I CANNOT MAKE ANOTHER INSURANCE CLAIM WITH THEM...

IT IS OUR OPINION THAT THIS IS A 'SCAM' BETWEEN THE CINGULAR PHONE SALES AND THE INSURANCE COMPANY THEY USE!!!! THE WARRANTY IS NOTHING BUT A JOKE!!!! AND THE SERVICE IS A BIGGER JOKE!!! AND I AND MY FAMILY ARE TOTALLY DISGUSTED WITH THIS COMPANY..

AND IF ANYBODY CAN INFORM ME OF A BETTER COMPANY TO BE WITH, OR HOW I CAN 'GET OUT' OF THIS CONTRACT I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT... THEY SENT ME BACK THE PHONE TODAY, AND WE CAN SEE NO EVIDENCES OF WATER DAMAGE!!!!! AND MY HUSBAND WORKED WITH THE PHONE COMPANY FOR OVER 13 YEARS, SO HE KNOWS WHAT TO LOOK FOR WITH MOISTURE OR WATER DAMAGE IN THE EQUIPMENT...

THEY MADE THE MISTAKE OF SHIPPING TO ME THE ORIGINAL CUSTOMER ORDER FORM WHICH SAYS PROBLEM NO POWER,NOT CHARGING, FREEZING.. AND IN A BALL POINT PEN WRITTERN IN COMMENTS IT NOW SAYS.. "LIQUID DAMAGE" CUSTOMER HAS INSURANCE.. WHAT DO YOU THINK??? I THINK THEY HAD NO INTENTIONS OF EVEN TRYING TO REPAIR THIS PHONE.. JUST LET THE CUSTOMER GET A NEW ONE UNDER THE INSURANCE PLAN..

I AM STILL FURIOUS OVER THIS.. AND WILL CONTINUE TO TRY TO STOP THIS FROM HAPPENING TO OTHER CUSTOMERS OF THIS COMPANY.. PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO CONCERN CUSTOMERS AND HOPEFULLY THIS WILL GET BACK TO MR. ROQUE AT THE CINGULAR WIRELESS KENDALL SERVICE CENTER IN MIAMI FLA. OCEANS OF THANKS . TOBY BAGLEY

you do realize that there is a water damage sticker on the inside of the phone it turns red when wet, and electronics will get condesation in high humidty areas
