Disney Line cruise - items taken from luggage

Complaints.com received the following consumer message on June 4, 2002:

I recently took a disney line cruise. The last night of the cruise we were told to put our luggage outside the cabin to be picked up and taken to the luggage hall the next morning.

Upon arriving at the luggage hall my daughters bag was gone but another very similar had been left there. I notified and made an property loss report as I realized someone had mistakenly taken our bag.

The person who took our bag all the way to Tampa Fl. took our bag home there and it ended up (for some reason) at her sisters house. After several phone calls they finally got in touch with her and we recieved the bag by currier.

The bag had been gone through and most of the items of any worth had been taken. I have called Disney line to no avail, they say they are not responsible, boy am I mad as I don't know who else to talk to. Have made so many calls to Fl. but claims department tells me it isn't there fault. Being that the bag was in there possession I feel it is there responsibility.

Thanks a lot Disney line, I'll never deal with them again in any way.
