RE: Jerusalem International - Leather Jacket purchase - left pocket torn after 14 days
I bought a black leather jacket from Jerusalem International (Shop 69A, N1 City) on Saturday 25/5/2002. Yesterday Sunday 02/06/2002, I put my hands deep into the pockets of the jacket, the left pocket got torn down the side. Today at midday, I went to the shop to show the saleslady that this leather has been torn. She then phoned her boss at the Kenilworth branch who told her that they can repair the jacket but can not replace it. My complaint is that the jacket is hardly 14 days old and its already torn. This is supposed to be a genuine leather jacket according to the label that was attached to the jacket and the label also states that it is a durable garment. I also spoke to the owner and he told me that he can not take the jacket back because it will be a reject if he has to sell it, but what about him selling me a reject for R899.00!!!!!! Pls help me to get my money back or a replacement jacket.
