Kane's Furniture Store, Melbourne, Australia - furniture delivered with different color legs - poor service</font></p> <p><font size="2" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">I ordered a furniture set on April, 20th. 2002. It was delivered on April, 27th.

RE: Kane's Furniture Store, Melbourne, Australia - furniture delivered with different color legs - poor service I ordered a furniture set on April, 20th. 2002. It was delivered on April, 27th. 2002. My husband received the furniture, he didn't realize that they came with different color legs. One came with the lightwood color and the other with blacklegs...what was funny is that when I called them back, right away in the afternoon, to notify about the problem, they thought I was crazy...

 

they told me that that furniture never came with black legs, and they suggested that I should paint the ones that were wood color in black....I didn't think it was funny so I accepted the "joke" in a fun way...but I told them that this was the first time I had paid tha furniture in "full"...I will reconsider next time.

 

Anyway, they said they will fix the problem..so they sent another loveseat ...to my surprise...it had another color of legs?.....The deliver guy was so impressed that he didn't know what to say..so he callled somebody and he said (after talking to somebody) that it will be fixed....so I didn't accept that sofa. Nobody ever called me back! I was the one try to reach someone, I had talked to a "Daniele, a Ivonne (she was a little nicer but she said she worked only weekends) she tried her best, so she told me that it would probably take 6 to 8 weeks...! I decided to wait....!

 

Now It is June 29th and I haven't received anything! Today I tried to call and they told me that the computers were down....this was at 11a.m. now it is 11p.m. and nobody had returned my call. Here again, I talked to Danielle. The worst part is that when I tried to talk to the "manager" ( I was never told his/her name)they sent me to another person to try to "fix" my problem....so I finally said let me try again...

 

I will give them another chance but this is getting very upsetting. I had paid for these pieces in full, but obviously this is not the best way to go around. I hope and wish that there is somebody that can give me a straight answer and see if my problem can be solved as soon as possible. Sincerely, Monica Shelton, Order nO. 0420212DIHR
