Complaints.com received the following consumer message on June 2, 2002:

Our EVEREX Explora computer was missing it's re-installation WINDOWS software from the box. The store told us to contact Everex. We did by phone, by postal mail, and email.
We were told on the phone that the re-install software WAS included, when it wasn't. And there were no responses to our email or postal letters.
When our computer broke down, the technicians needed the re-install software. We didn't have any. We had to go put and purchase a new WINDOWS at a huge cost. Up to this date, we have not heard from Everex.
