RE: 1998 Durango - oil sludge dropped to zero twice - transmission sensor and ball joints replaced
We have 98 Durango and had 2 separate incidences when the oil pressure dropped to zero due to sludge being on pickup screen. Have started adding Rislone at oil changes. Seems to be running fine. Would urge everyone with Durango to try this product.
Also, power window has failed and mysteriously started working, also transmission sensor went out, also ball joints replaced. I understand ball joints and power windows a common problem. Would like to get Chrysler to recall/fix the pickup screen.
THis is a serious problem as I have read several postings where the engines have completely blown up. Please e-mail me if you have had an engine problem. I would like to spearhead a recall campain on those screens.
