RE: Nextel - ordered as a result of telemarketing call - returned in 14 days - account turned over to collection

My name is Barry White. I have an issues with Nextel Communications. After ordering a phone, as a result of a telemarketing call, which was supposed to come with a free trial period of I think 60 days, I returned the phone within 14 days. I used the phone to call customer service once, there were no other calls made. Because I had problems from the start, I returned the phone after receiving a return number like required. I returned it on 3-02-02, less thatn 14 days from receiving it. The phone was sent by U.S. Postal Service Certified Mail to Nextel C/O. BSS, 5360 Capital Court, Reno, NV 89502. Suzanne (last name unknown) signed for the phone on 3-04-02. The Article Number on the receipt is 7001 1940 0002 8104 0607. After making numerous calls over the last 3 + months trying to get my account cleared I have been turned over to a collection agency. If further informatin is needed my home phone number is 847-223-1435 and my work number is 847-579-3415. Thank You

Barry White
