Foundmoney - was told found $ 98.00 of consumer's money - paid $ 20.00 - then found nothing

Complaints.com received the following consumer message update on July 9, 2002:

After posting my complaint against foundmoney.com I was contacted by them and they refunded my membership money....$20. They also send the information that they claimed that they had and I could not access. Actually turned out to belong to our son.

They said that I did not fill in the form correctly...who knows. Thank you for letting me use your database to post my complaint...it worked!!!!

Complaints.com received the following consumer message on June 23, 2002:

Today I received an Email from Foundmoney telling me that they had found $98 belonging to me in their database and for $20 they would run four searches.

I bit and subscribed for the $20. When the search was run I was informed that there was nothing in their database. I think that is a ripeoff.

I am including the two Email addresses that I received the first communication from and the one confirming that I had a membership. Email User, Email User
