RE: Compaq laptop - bought from CompUSA San Francisco - disk crashed - need warranty fix
I bought a Compaq laptop Pressario1800 from CompUSA in San Francisco on April 2, 2000 and took an international 3 year warranty paying $599.
Now I am in Trivandrum, Kerala India and my hard disc crashed when I approach the Compaq dealer here he says inspite of my showing your receipt stating I have 3 year International Warranty, that they need a confirmation from you or the Compaq. My receipt no. is 271557 Serial 1v02dc169314
Please do the needful to enable me to get my hard disc replaced at the earliest.
Thanking you
Yours Sincerely Sambasivan Uma Devi
