Complaints.com received the following consumer message on June 18, 2002:

RE: lightlens.com - auto bulbs no brighter than the original bulbs

 

I ordered a set of auto bulbs for my car from lightlens.com

 

I recieved the packet and opened one of the two items to check it in my car.

 

The bulb was no brighter than the original bulbs. So I let them know and they said they would not refund or credit the items even though only one of them had been opened.

 

They charged me $19-80 for the bulbs, where-as the origials are only $2.99 from autozone and work equally as good. They boasted of there super bright bulbs etc etc... Thank you for listening!

If the customer wanted a brighter bulb he should have ordered the 80 watt bulb instead of the standard wattage bulb which is exactly what he had to begin with.

This complaint is totally without merit and should be removed.
