RE: Brooks Pharmacy, West Lebanon, NH - consumer interpretation of personal experience

Brooks Pharmacy in West Lebanon, NH. I went there today to have my prescription filled for a bladder infection. They filled it and when I gave them my Insurance card, they told me that the insurance companies system was down and I would have to pay cash or come back.

Little do they know that when you have Medicaid they have to process the claim no matter what. They treated me like garbage because I was receiving this type of insurance. I do work and so does my spouse and we do pay for this insurance.

SO I went back to the counter after I left mad and waiting for someone to help me again and they ignored me, while taking care of people behind me instead. They never told me that if I was to pay cash now that I could come back with my receipt and they would reimburse me if I did this.

I found this out from a very nice elderly gentleman. Needless to say I will no longer be doing business with Brooks! They need to treat all people EQUAL!!!
