Customer Service at Besy Buy - CD player installation
On June 6 I went to Best Buy to have a CD player installed. After I dropped the car off, I was informed that the only way back to the inside of the store was to walk all the way around the back of building. This is not just a free standing building it is in a strip-mall type setting. Don't get me wrong, there were seats in the back and the wait was only 1 hour but I didn't want to wait back there.
It was a hot day and somewhat of a long walk. When I finally got back to the front of the building it had started to rain. I was somewhat upset and proceeded to speak to the manager about the fact that you are required to walk that distance. He put the blame on the city and their building requirements. The store cannot have a walkthrough beside the building for some reason. I really wasn't looking for someone to blame but a simple apology for my inconvenience would have been nice. After talking with him I decided to never buy anything else from that store.
To be completely fair to the man, when my car was ready, it had started to rain again and he did escort me through the warehouse to the back. This is a service that should be extended to all customers, after all there are a number of people just standing around at any given time doing nothing.
