Delivery Services, UPS : trouble with UPS deliveries to apartment

Date: Friday, June 22, 2001 03:47 PM UPS is the most customer friendlyless company. I remember when they came by begging people in buisness to use them. Now they are so big they could care less. I live on the third floor of an apartment building and am a single woman. I had to fight to get them to deliver the package when I was home. Now another package has come and the driver would not leave it at the door even if I signed a waiver. Would not leave it at the rental office. UPS states the packages are missing from the rental office and so they will not leave anymore. I find it so hard to believe, since Fed ex and USPS delivers items to my door and leaves them and they have never disappeared.

Nor have any of the packages UPS ever delievered to the rental office for me not be there. It seems to me if the packages are being lost maybe it is not the tenants maybe they are being signed for and since no one at the rental office checks he is not leaving them. I personally have made a committement NOT to use UPS for anything. This means any company that does not use another alternative for shipping other than UPS does not have my business. As I have said prior UPS forgot who helped them get to where they are today.
