Complaints.com received the following e-message on June 20, 2001:

Canon BJC 1000 printer

I bought a BJC 1000 Canon Printer. The print suddenly changed to near microscopic size. I called Canon's 800 number, 423 2366. The tape said "If you have a year 2000 printer, call 1-757 413 2848." I called that number (I pay the charge), and the tape said "Have your Visa or MC ready to pay $10 to speak to a techie" (paraphrased). I don't think I'll ever buy another Canon.
