Sansui - poor repair work resulted in damage to 29 inch TV set

RE: Sansui - poor repair work resulted in damage to 29 inch TV set

 

Sub: Delayed and unsatisfactory service/repairing work attended by a Technician deputed by SANSUI –

resulting complete damaged to newly purchased TV set.

Sir, I wish to bring to your notice that I had purchased a SANSUI 29 inches TV set as per details indicated

below:- i. Name of Manufacturing Company SANSUI

I this connection, I am to inform you that after few days of its purchase two lines on the top and bottom

of the screen of the said TV were noticed. I had requested the company’s office based in Dev Nagar,

Karol Bagh, New Delhi to attend to my complaint. Even after reminding the said office continuously for

several days they did not listen to me.

 

Ultimately they had deputed a man (Mr. Rajesh) to attend the call after 10 days. But I am sorry to point out that instead of setting the TV in working condition he has damaged the set completely. On my subsequent

complaint, that office again deputed the same person.

 

This time he has done further damage to the TV by burning some parts while attending the repairing work.

Now he has done maximum damage to this TV set. On sensing his incapability to set the TV in order, he

immediately left our premises assuring us to visit the following days with spare parts.

 

But he has not turn up till date in spite of requesting the persons(s) concerned in the complaint cell of the aforesaid office of SANSUI. He misguide us saying that your guarantee period is two years and wait some time let the TV fully un-functional so that we can find the fault easily.

 

Now our TV set is unfunctional past one month. We again made the complaint which was attended by another engineer and found that the guarantee period is over and they will charge us. This is totally unwanted and unacceptable on the part of consumer. 1. I had preferred to purchase this product keeping in mind the earlier reputation of the firm. I never

imagined that the reputation of such a Multi-National reputed company will go down to this extent. As my

complaint is not being attended by the Company in spite of repeated reminders continuously for 15 days,

I am addressing this communication to you. I would have never bothered you had my complaints been

attended by your subordinates. They have spoiled the faith of the customer. I think this should be

sufficient level to address I hope the question of initiating line of action intended to be taken should normally not arise at all

and your goodself will work into the matter on top priority basis With Best Wishes, Yours sincerely
