RE: George Forman Grill - teflon finish has worn off in many places
Complaint dept. We have a George Forman Grill (with a bun warmer) and enjoy it very much. Our complaint is that the Teflon finish has worn off in many places. This grill has never been abused. My husband and I are seniors and other than having a grandchild in occassionally to fry a hamburger or chicken patty for, we use the grill less than a family normally would. We have never used anything but the plastic spatula provided to clean the grill, except for a damp cloth to wipe the ridges after using the spatula. The grill is 3 years old, and we feel that the Teflon finish should have lasted longer than it did. I can't find an e-mail address to register a complaint, other than http://www.homecrations.com in my manual, and that site is no longer available. Would appreciate any guidance you may give. I like the machine however the teflon has worn off until I fear to use it lest I end up eating the teflon on my food. This model was made in China and as other products may be dangerous. Please advise what to do besides buying another machine that will produce the same results. Thank you for you attention to this matter.
