I am really upset with Dillards Department Store in Chapel Hill, NC. Some months back, I received a sweater as a gift. It did not fit me properly so I wanted to exchange it or get a store credit for future use. For many reasons, I was not able to get to Dillards to do this...until today.

 

I had the original receipt and the sweater had never been worn. All of the original tags were still on it, so there was never an issue of how much had been paid or the condition of the merchandise. The manager (Mark) informed me that he would only offer me $10.00 for an article which had cost more than $40.00.

 

I could not believe it!! I am not usually one to return merchandise, so I was unfamiliar with their return policy.... but this treatment was positively insulting. Suffice it to say, today was the last time I will ever set foot in a Dillards!!!
