J.D. Marvel Products - paid for 2 pair of suede slippers not received

In late April I sent a check for $16.95 for 2 pair of suede slippers that they adverised in our local newspaper. On May 14th,2003 they cashed my check.

It is now July1,03 and I have not recieved anything. Their website is not working and the phone number they give for customer service is never answered. Just rings and rings forever or has a constant busy signal.

I believe the law states that a mail order house MUST get the goods to you within 30 days unless you agree otherwise. I have called the FTC and they are looking into it. I believe this company are SCAM artists and should be closed down. Beware of placing any order with them.
