RE: Siemens S40 mobile phone - phone freezes and can't be used until battery if removed and replaced - Siemens won't fix phone The phone locks up and can not be used until the battery is removed and placed back. Problem seems to be that the software will not recognize Cell Site signals from shared towers. Siemans will not standby the phone and fix it or replace it. They say the problem is the Cell companies not theirs. They offer no consumer resolution at all. BAD BUSINESS!! Regardless of the technical issues, All other phones work properly on the GSM network Only the S40 is having problems!
