McLenna Electric, Liberty Hill, TX - told repair wasn't covered by home warranty company, and it was covered

Complaints.com received the following on July 16, 2003:

RE: McLenna Electric, Liberty Hill, TX - told repair wasn't covered by home warranty company, and it was covered I have a complaint on McLenna Electric, 2990 County Road 284, Liberty Hill, Tx. They were scheduled to come to my residence and replace 2 power roof vents at 7:00 AM which required that I take the morning off work.

They called at 7:30 AM to advise they could not be there until 2:00 PM, which would require me to take the day off. I advised "Theresa" that was unfortunate since it would be hot by mid-afternoon and the roof vents could only be accessed through the attic or roof.

Theresa's response indicated they believed the repair was for a bathroom exhaust fan and not a power roof vent but she would advise the technician. They called back at 8:00 AM and advised the repair was not covered by my home warranty (even though they had been contacted by the home warranty company to make the repair) and they would not be making the service call.

I called my home warranty company and verified the service was covered and they contacted another company to make the service call.
