RE: Monosodium Glutamate - upset that this chemical is put in the food we eat by food manufacturers and restaurants I am writing to complain about the Monosodium Glutamate that food manufacturers and many restaurants (not just Oriental restaurants) put in the food that we eat.

Millions of Americans have severe allergic reactions to these "chemicals". You cannot see it on the food --- only the companies and the cooks know that it is in the food. There should be a law against using it. It causes migraine headaches, elevated blood pressure, some severe respiratory problems.

For more information go to: www.pubmed.gov type in monosodium glutamate, obesity when you finish there type in monosodium glutamate, migraines.

They should not be allowed to use it but if they do, there should be some very bold labeling on the menu, box, bottle, can, bag, etc.

Thank you for listening.
