RE: The Cruise Web, Inc., Washington, DC - www.cruiseweb.com - charged a total of $ 1,166.50 more than quoted I was looking for pricing on a family trip. I went to www.cruiseweb.com. The next day an agent called Gretchen Brazda called me back. I told her we were on a tight budget and did not want to spend to much more than $600/person. She said that would be difficult because port charges and taxes are about $200, but she would see what she could do.

About 10 minutes later she called me back and said "what about $760/person?". I told her that sounded great that I needed to talk to the rest of the family. My mother called her back and confirmed the price with her. My mother then told her what the total would come out to be and she agreed. She never gave the total. Three weeks later we got the tickets and were charged $811-$1100. When we called everyone I talked to said

that I had to talk to Gretchen. She never called me back.

When I got a hold of her she told me that she never quotes per person just by cabin. She never once gave a cabin price, not even when we gave her our credit card number. I talked to a manager Mr. Green, who said "we only quote by cabin." He told me the cruise was cheap with the price they charged so I should be happy with it. We were charged a total of $1166.50 more than they quoted. I want to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else. The Cruise Web, Inc.
