Complaints.com received the following on July 15, 2003:

RE: GE Auto Insurance - quoted $ 838.30 - billed for policy that cost $ 1,326.00
Received advertisement via U.S. mail called for estimate they stated they would reduce present rates by up to $400, they sent contract after giving quote for $838.30, sent check and application.
They sent policy for $1326.00. Of course I cancelled, thats $400 more than I'm paying now. I'm having to go through the state to get my money back.
