Atlantic Circulation - cancelled order - haven't yet received refund

I would like to enter a complaint against Atlantic Circulation. Similar to what I have read, I placed an order under the guise that these "kids" were from a local school and when I found out this was not true, I cancelled the order by using the directions that were given to me by "Amy".

 

One week later, my check was cashed on my account. When I called to ask them why Laura Potter told me she had every right to cash my check and would not refund my money unless I provided her a copy of my cancelled check.

 

I did so (at my expense) and faxed it to her on 7/8/03. I have been calling her since that time to find out where my check is. I provided her with a UPS number so she could overnight the check to me and it has not arrived as of today 7/14/03.

 

I don't even think I will ever have my money refunded. I am a single parent and I really need all of my money.
